James "Jim" Clement has been a member of the APS team since 2005. He is a managing partner of APS as well as his entity under the APS umbrella known as Unity Counseling. Jim brings not only a well established counseling career to Applied Psychological Services, but also has had many successful prior professional experiences.

Jim has been a high school history teacher and head soccer coach. He owned a consulting company for businesses as well as working in marketing and sales. Jim brings his knowledge and experience with this diverse and successful professional career to his counseling practice.

Jim is an effective individual counselor and has seen a diverse population of people with varied diagnoses. He adopts a very non-judgemental attitude toward his clients and is extremely empathetic with the different situations where people find themselves. Jim has successfully helped individuals, couples, and families regain the lives they desire.

Happily married to his wife for over 30 years, Jim is a very effective marriage and couples counselor. Jim strongly believes in the concept of covenant rather than contractual marriage. Jim is able to counsel couples regardless of how badly damaged the relationship might be currently. He then begins to mentor and nurture the relationship toward where the couple wants it to be.

Jim is a strong follower of Christ and is the leader of the Stephen's Ministry at Christ's Church of Oronogo. He is involved in his community and is a published author. Jim is also a devoted father and grandfather.
